Our family lives in southwest Virginia, in the small, quiet town of Sugar Grove. We have 6 children ageså to 27. We moved from the FL panhandleä years ago, after living there for 22 years. Kathy had grown up there, but Richard grew up in Ashe County, NC and had always wanted to move back to the Appalachian Mountains. "You cana take the boy out of the mountains, but you can't take the mountains out of the boy." Richard is proof of that!
Our family lives on a ridge overlooking Rye Valley, where, seeing the blazing sky aglow with color during a sunrise or sunset, and the Iron Mountain range in the background, is absolutely beautiful! (See actual picture of sunrise at top.) We all love it here in southwest VA and have met some wonderful folks here!
We're very excited to finally have a shop here at home in order to be able to have a home-business! We build different lawn furniture items and also occasionally build custom Gazebos. We especially enjoy working with wood, and enjoy custom woodworking, but are concentrating on lawn furniture at this time.
